We joined the business originally to enable Linda to give up her part-time job in a busy doctors surgery. After only five months this short term goal was achieved.
I had a full time job in the computer industry, working to deadlines and driving 50,000 miles a year. I’ve faced redundancy twice in my career, realise that no job is fully secure, and nobody ever gets rich working for someone else.
After only a short time building our business, on a very part-time basis, we have already hit our second goal: My retirement from the rat race. We have many more goals of our own.
